3 fresh releases

SUG(R)CANE - IT'S LIKE A MONDAY BUT IT'S NOT

The marvellous return of the thoroughly skilled local electronica derwish, coming up with what might be one of Mister Cut's most pure and experimental electronica albums yet. A must-have for fans of Bibio, ColdCut of Flying Lotus.

LOUD WAS THE SEA - AUTIST WEDDING

First record of Loud Was The Sea, a one man-project of former metro (L) and Mount Stealth (L) guitarist David André. Autist wedding's cinematographic keylines create peacefull haunting backgrounds for an as versatile than efficient beat programming while his instrumentation floats discretely and patiently troughout the melancholic song structures.

SERMEQ - NAUTILUS

Sermeq's third release on SCHNURSTRAX is definitely a curious listening experience. Grabbing his way through unwieldy retro-synthlines, combined with a more straight-forward dancefloor-compatible sound aesthetic, Sermeq pushes the boundaries of filthy downtempo-kitsch a bit further. The gloomy guest appearances of Plankton Wave's Helena Dyboek and Lisa Berg's looped cello-phrases add a slightly more organic feel to the mainly sci-fi influenced gimmickery. Pure chill-out stuff.
